The statue representing Buddha is made of sandstone. The way the hands are placed, it expresses the 'Namaskara Mudra' or ‘Hridayanjali Mudra'. It forms the gesture of greeting, prayer and adoration. It is performed by pressing the palms of the hands together in which the hands are held at the heart chakra with thumbs resting lightly against the sternum.

Ideal item for a meditation room, to put on a coffee table in the lounge room, in a hallway to welcome you home or in a bedroom to relax.
